Man Utd v West Ham Utd highlights – Rooney breaks his duck

Man Utd didn’t look very convincing in last weeks 2-2 draw with Fulham, but had a great chance to improve their standings with a home game against lowly West Ham.

Wayne Rooney hadn’t scored in his last 18 hours of football, but his opening goal (albeit from a penalty) may start him off on a run.

“He enjoyed his football today,” said Alex Ferguson.

“He was full of energy which was good. He worked his socks off. Of course, strikers want to score and he has got off the mark.”

Nani also scored and won the Man Of The Match award, and Berbatov finished West Ham off. Man Utd are getting into gear now, and along with Arsenal, are stll likely to be Chelsea’s main rivals for the title…
